Residence Manager (RM) is responsible to manage, monitor and deliver on all expected outcomes as per the Australian Quality & Safety Commission Agency (ACQSC), other regulatory requirements, Human Resources and Financial Management of Aeralife Northcote home.
This Position reports to Regional Operations Manager and is a key member of VIC leadership team.

The Opportunity on Offer
You will be a registered nurse, with AHPRA registration. Appropriate business qualifications (Working towards same may be considered). Experience in the re-accreditation process and related assessment visits conducted by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC). Having sound knowledge of the Aged Care Act and subordinate principles.
How you will make an Impact
Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care and operational efficiency
- Oversee rostering to maintain appropriate skill mix and staffing coverage
- Uphold resident rights and proactively address resident or family concerns
- Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives in line with organisational strategy
- Ensure compliance with AN-ACC documentation and optimise funding outcomes
- Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Monitor and manage clinical risk, incidents, and preventative strategies
- Manage clinical supply procurement and departmental reporting
About You
You are an individual who can demonstrate a strong track record in effectively leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams. You are passionate about aged care and can adapt to the ever-changing requirements within the sector.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current registration the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Undergraduate, graduate or post graduate qualifications in Management or appropriate business qualifications. (Working towards same may be considered).
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Residential Aged Care.
- Demonstrated experience in ACQSC re-accreditation and compliance processes
- Comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Act, Standards, and AN-ACC model.
- Strong clinical governance, KPI management, and regulatory reporting skills
- Excellent computer literacy and competency in electronic care systems.
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check.
