About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, Enterprise Risk, you will contribute to a broad range of risk and compliance activities across the business, with a strong focus on supporting and embedding a whole-of-business governance, risk and compliance framework.
This role plays a key part in strengthening governance practices, ensuring risk frameworks are effectively maintained, and supporting the ongoing uplift of controls, systems, and processes across the business. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to embed best practice risk and compliance, translating complex regulatory and governance requirements into clear, practical outcomes.
This is a hands-on role, suited to someone who enjoys both working within frameworks and being involved in day-to-day risk and compliance activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities Governance, Risk & Compliance Framework
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the organisation’s GRC framework
- Maintain governance registers, risk frameworks, and compliance documentation
- Work within and support GRC systems (e.g. Protecht or similar platforms) to track risks, controls, and obligations
Compliance
- Monitor compliance obligations and control effectiveness across the business
- Support regulatory reporting and stakeholder interactions
- Assist with incident management, investigations, and remediation activities
- Support policy reviews and governance processes
Risk
- Support risk reporting and governance activities across the business
- Identify, assess, and document business risks
- Monitor key controls and contribute to risk insights and reporting
- Support control reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
What You Will Bring
- Experience working within a governance, risk and compliance (GRC) framework, ideally in a regulated environment
- Hands-on experience using GRC systems such as Protecht, RiskInsight, or similar platforms
- Understanding of how risk frameworks, controls, and compliance obligations are structured and maintained
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and obligations (including ASIC and Corporations Act) is advantageous, but not essential
- Experience supporting risk assessments, control testing, or assurance activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across the business and influence outcomes
- Ability to translate regulatory and governance requirements into practical actions
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline preferred
- Professional accreditation such as CA, CPA, or PMIIA is advantageous but not essential
