Y-Axis Australia is looking for an experienced and client-focused Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in either our Melbourne or Sydney office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional Canadian immigration advice, assessing client eligibility, managing immigration applications, and ensuring all cases are handled in accordance with Canadian immigration laws, regulations, and professional standards.
This opportunity is ideal for an RCIC who enjoys working directly with clients and is looking to contribute their expertise within an established international immigration and career consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional advice to clients regarding Canadian immigration pathways, including Permanent Residency, Work Permits, Study Permits and other immigration programs.
- Conduct detailed client profile assessments and recommend suitable immigration strategies.
- Manage immigration applications from initial consultation through to submission and outcome.
- Review supporting documentation and ensure applications meet applicable Canadian immigration requirements.
- Prepare and submit applications, representations and supporting documentation to relevant Canadian authorities.
- Keep clients informed throughout the immigration process and provide clear guidance regarding documentation, timelines and next steps.
- Stay updated with changes to Canadian immigration legislation, policies, programs and procedural requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure professional and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with internal sales, documentation and client service teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Current and valid RCIC licence / registration with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC).
- Strong understanding of Canadian immigration programs and regulations.
- Previous experience managing Canadian immigration applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client consultation and relationship-management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Professional, ethical and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
