Brisbane Makeover Co. is seeking a highly organised, self-motivated warehouse superstar to take ownership of our warehouse picking, stock control and daily job preparation.
This is not simply a warehouse role. You will be central to the success of our property styling installations, ensuring the correct furniture and accessories are carefully picked, protected, recorded and loaded for every project.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, safe and highly organised warehouse
- Plan and prioritise upcoming installations and furniture uplifts
- Pick furniture and accessories accurately from detailed pick lists
- Ensure every item required for each project is prepared and loaded
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock movement records
- Operate a furniture order picker safely
- Protect, clean and care for our premium furniture collection
- Identify missing, damaged or incorrectly allocated stock
- Assist with truck loading and unloading
- Anticipate operational needs and resolve issues before they affect the team
- Adapt quickly when schedules or project requirements change
- Occasionally attend properties to assist our styling installation crew
- Complete other warehouse and operational tasks as required
About you
You are a forward thinker who plans ahead, notices the details and takes pride in keeping everything under control. You can confidently manage competing priorities and understand that excellent logistics are essential to a successful installation.
You will bring:
- Exceptional organisation, planning and prioritisation skills
- Strong logistical thinking and attention to detail
- A proactive, self-motivated approach
- The ability to pivot and problem-solve in a fast-moving environment
- Confidence working independently and as part of a team
- A high standard of care when handling furniture and inventory
- Accurate record-keeping skills
- The physical fitness required to safely handle furniture and perform manual tasks
- A current driver’s licence
- An LO order picker licence is highly regarded
- Previous warehouse, inventory, logistics, removals or furniture experience is advantageous
