We’re looking for a motivated 1st, 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice to join a small, hands-on team specialising in glazing and carpentry across residential and commercial projects throughout Sydney.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, physical work and wants to develop their trade skills while working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of construction projects.
Working alongside the Leading Hand and experienced tradespeople, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of residential construction tasks, including:
- Assisting with glazing and carpentry activities
- Supporting wall and roof framing
- Assisting with levelling and general structural works
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assisting with the installation and handling of glazing products
- Supporting tradespeople across residential building projects
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around worksites
- Performing manual handling and heavy lifting as required
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
We're open to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year Apprentices, with previous glazing or construction experience highly regarded.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A genuine interest in developing a career in glazing, carpentry or construction
- Current driver's licence and reliable car
- Ability to work efficiently with hand and power tools
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a small team
- A safety-focused approach to work
- Previous glazing, carpentry or construction experience is advantageous
You’ll be joining a small residential and commercial team specialising in glazing and carpentry.
Working within a close-knit team means you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of tasks rather than being limited to one area of the trade.
You’ll work closely with the Leading Hand and experienced tradespeople, gaining practical exposure to glazing, framing, carpentry and general residential construction while developing the skills needed to progress your apprenticeship.

Qualifications: Continue working towards your nationally recognised trade qualification.
