Sales Representative – Gourmet Food Industry

The Gourmet Co. is a family-owned business specialising in the wholesale distribution of premium gourmet foods across Sydney, Canberra, and surrounding regions.
We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and working with high-quality gourmet products.
About the Role
As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and growing both existing and new customer accounts throughout the Sydney Metro area.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across existing and new customer accounts
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers
- Promote and maintain knowledge of The Gourmet Co. product range
- Inform customers about new products, pricing, and promotions
- Develop sales plans, strategies, and achievable targets
- Increase market share and identify new business opportunities
- Service existing accounts and conduct regular follow-ups
- Liaise with office staff regarding customer enquiries and orders
- Deliver outstanding customer service and support
What We’re Looking For
✔ Previous sales experience (3+ years preferred)
✔ Food industry experience highly regarded
✔ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Strong negotiation and influencing ability
✔ Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously
✔ Organised with strong time-management skills
✔ Passion for sales and customer service
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver Licence with good driving record
- Full Australian working rights with no restrictions

Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
