insightfactory.ai helps organisations build human-agent workforces — bringing people and AI agents together to do the work. We deliver through embedded delivery teams, disciplined process optimisation and agentic AI — our Lean to Agentic methodology — built on the principle that AI must sit on a sound, optimised process rather than automate an inefficient one.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Advisory to lead the way we understand our clients and shape the work we do for them. This is a senior, client-facing advisory role: you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, synthesise programs of work, and frame the clear problem statements and solution pathways that direct our delivery and engineering teams. You will lead our advisory capability, supervise our analytics translator and PMO functions, and provide senior delivery leadership across every domain.
It will suit someone who has built a foundation in data, data science or AI consulting and has grown into a genuine strength in client advisory, solution synthesis and the leadership of delivery — and who is ready to lead and mature how a growing firm does this work.
This role is open to candidates in Adelaide or Brisbane with some client travel required.
- Lead the advisory relationship with clients — understanding their needs, synthesising programs of work, and framing the clear problem statements and solution pathways that shape what our delivery and engineering teams build.
- Act as our domain lead for advisory, setting and maturing the methodologies that underpin how we understand client needs and design solutions.
- Supervise and grow our Analytics Translator capability and lead the PMO function, managing Managers and their teams, and raising the standard and consistency of how client needs become deliverable programs.
- Provide thorough delivery leadership across engagements spanning all our domains — data science, AI and data engineering.
- Work collaboratively with our Senior Manager – Data Services, Senior Manager – Applied AI and Manager – Decision Labs — the domain experts — drawing on their expertise while owning the advisory synthesis and overall engagement outcome.
- Sustain and grow existing client accounts, and identify and land new ones, with a clear expectation of contributing to the firm’s growth.
- Own the commercial performance of the Advisory practice, including P&L and margin, and shape pricing and commercial strategy for the domain.
- Identify, quantify and deliver recognised value and benefits on every engagement, ensuring clients see measurable outcomes rather than simply delivered features.
- Experience at Senior Manager level, or as a highly experienced Manager ready to step up, within a Big Four or top-tier consulting firm (or equivalent) in data, analytics or AI.
- Proven, senior-level strength in working directly with clients to understand their needs and synthesise value-adding solutions — framing problems, shaping programs and defining the pathways forward.
- A demonstrated ability to lead and mature advisory and delivery methodologies, and to raise capability in others rather than simply delivering yourself.
- Thorough experience leading the delivery of projects across data science, AI and data engineering — capable across all of them, without needing to be the domain leader in any single one.
- Significant transformation experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead complex, outcome-focused engagements.
- Experience carrying commercial accountability for a practice or portfolio, including P&L, margin and pricing.
- A clear track record in growing existing accounts and a demonstrated ability to identify and land new business.
- A strong record of identifying, quantifying and delivering recognised value and benefits.
- Demonstrated people leadership, including managing managers and developing others.
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills, comfortable engaging client C-suite.
- Experience with benefits management or benefits realisation frameworks.
- Lean Six Sigma qualification (Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent), with tangible examples of process optimisation delivering value.
- Experience pairing process optimisation with AI or related technologies to deliver measurable outcomes.
We are a growing firm that believes sustainable growth is built on consistently excellent delivery and genuine understanding of our clients. We operate a structured Professional Services career framework with clear level expectations, defined performance targets and half-year reviews under a counsellor model, so you will always know what is expected and how you are tracking.
