We are seeking a full time Pastrycook who will be able to work independently and as a part of a team, reliable and will be rewarded with a great salary also a friendly and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Checking quality of raw materials and ensure it meets daily consumption requirement
- Making pastry dough and pastry products by using different techniques such as forming, loading, baking, unloading, and cooling
- Preparing and Baking and decorating all types of tart, pies, crumbles and cakes, including cheesecake, brownies and Caramel slice, chocolate indulgence
- Stock receiving, re-ordering and checking date of expiry
- Operating machines and monitoring oven temperatures and check pastry appearance and ensure it is baked properly
- Cleaning machines and equipment, baking trays, tins and workplace and ensure kitchen remains clean and organized
- Mentoring and Training new staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field
- Relevant degree
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
- Familiar with industry best practices
- Coordinate and supervise work of junior kitchen staff.
- Flair for taste and creativity;
