The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Financial Crime Adviser to join our Australia & Asia Financial Crime team in our Sydney office. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced financial crime professional to provide trusted advisory support, risk assessment expertise, and policy oversight across our offices in Australia and Asia. The role will play a key part in ensuring compliance with AML/CTF and sanctions obligations while supporting the business in managing financial crime risks in a complex and evolving regulatory environment.
The Financial Crime team forms part of the New Business Intake and Enterprise Risk ("NBI & ER") function and is responsible for overseeing the firm's approach to AML/CTF, sanctions and financial crime risk management across Australia and Asia.
Our team partners with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions to provide trusted advice, assess and manage financial crime risk, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. Based primarily in Sydney and Melbourne, we work closely with colleagues across Asia and the UK, offering a unique opportunity to gain exposure to regional and global financial crime issues while contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the firm's risk and compliance framework.
