Why this role matters
This is more than a compliance-focused accounting role.
As a Senior Accountant in our Business Advisory team, you’ll partner closely with a diverse client base, from growing businesses and entrepreneurs to more complex groups, helping them solve problems, improve performance, and plan for the future.
You’ll be trusted with meaningful client relationships, supported by approachable leaders, and given the opportunity to develop into a genuine business advisor.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys delivering high-quality work, building strong relationships, mentoring others, and contributing to a positive team culture and can see a path for career progression.
What you’ll do
Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and general-purpose financial reports across a range of entities and industries
Deliver tax compliance and advisory support, including GST, PAYG, BAS, and IAS preparation
Service a diverse client base, resolving issues and addressing individual client needs
Prepare reconciliations, journal adjustments, and supporting work papers
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Support, coach, and mentor junior team members
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation, accounting standards, and industry developments
What you’ll bring
Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
CA or CPA qualification (or nearly completed)
Proven experience in business services and tax advisory within public practice
Strong technical accounting and tax capability
A proactive, client-focused mindset with a genuine interest in becoming a trusted advisor
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities
