With continued growth across Australia and New Zealand, an ambitious store opening pipeline, and a relentless focus on delivering the best customer experience in sports fashion retail, we're creating a brand-new leadership role to help shape the next chapter of our journey.
We're looking for an exceptional Head of Retail – North to lead a significant portion of our ANZ retail network, partnering closely with the Director of Retail to drive commercial performance, develop high-performing leaders, and build a scalable retail operation ready for continued expansion.

What You’ll Be Doing
As Head of Retail - North, you'll lead through a team of Area and State leaders, creating the conditions for stores, people and performance to thrive, across NSW, ACT, QLD.
You'll be responsible for delivering sales and profit outcomes across your region, while building capability, driving accountability and ensuring every store consistently delivers the JD experience our customers know and love.
Own the Region
- Lead and deliver all sales, profit, and KPI targets across the Northern store network
- Drive performance using data, insight, and sharp commercial decision-making
- Identify opportunities and act fast to maximise results
Build High-Performing Teams
- Lead, coach, and develop Area/Regional Managers
- Build strong bench strength and succession for future growth
- Create a high-performance culture where accountability and development go hand-in-hand
Deliver Best-in-Class Stores
- Elevate customer experience and drive conversion across every store
- Ensure premium visual merchandising and brand standards
- Bring campaigns, launches, and store environments to life
Drive Operational Excellence
- Ensure consistency across operations, compliance, and store execution
- Lead new store openings, refits, and key retail initiatives
- Continuously improve processes to unlock efficiency and performance
Partner Across the Business
- Work closely with Buying, VM, Planning, and People teams
- Influence strategy and contribute to the broader ANZ retail direction
- Be a key voice in shaping the future of the retail network
About You
You're an experienced retail leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You know how to balance strategy with execution, commerciality with people leadership, and accountability with coaching.
Most importantly, you're passionate about developing people, driving performance and creating environments where teams can do their best work.
You'll bring:
