About the role

We're looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our crew at Bounce Melbourne someone with an eye for detail, a knack for organisation, and the leadership to keep the whole housekeeping operation running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, takes pride in presentation, and is ready to take ownership of how the team runs, not just the day's task list.
Here's what that looks like:
Leading the team: Organising daily task lists, delegating jobs across the crew, checking in on progress, and stepping in to help wherever needed.
Quality control: Doing final room inspections and checks of common areas to make sure everything meets our standard before guests arrive.
Deep clean scheduling: Planning and keeping on top of a rolling deep clean schedule so nothing gets missed or falls behind.
Room readiness: Making beds, flipping dorms, deep-cleaning private rooms, and getting every room up to our high standards.
Common area care: Keeping our bathrooms, kitchen, and lounges clean, welcoming, and ready for the next round of guests.
Linen + supply coordination: Owning linen ordering, restocks, and supply counts making sure we never run out of the essentials (or get buried in 500 pillowcases).
Stock takes & orders: Tracking what we've got, what we need, and placing orders for cleaning products, toiletries, and all things housekeeping.
Team support: Leading a crew that pitches in, lifts each other up, and knows when it's time for a quick coffee break in the sun.
What We're Looking For:
You don't need fancy qualifications, just the ability to lead by example, keep things moving, and take pride in a job well done.
You might be:
- Experienced in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality, ideally with some supervisory or team lead experience (hostel experience = a bonus!)
- Someone who's organised, proactive, and comfortable keeping others on track
- Confident working independently and taking ownership of ordering & stock systems
- Reliable, detail-focused, and not afraid to sweat a little
