What You'll Do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in providing essential support across the branch. Our customer base is diverse and includes local farmers, primary producers, and trade customers. The focus of this role is to deliver a friendly, efficient, and memorable customer experience, both in-store and over the phone, while assisting with the day-to-day operations of the branch.
Performing general administrative tasks, including stock control and ensuring accurate receival and dispatch of goods
Assisting customers with pricing, product enquiries, and general support
Processing counter sales
Supporting warehouse operations as required
Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveries
Maintaining safety processes and a safe working environment
Managing telephone and reception enquiries
Maintaining a welcoming, well-presented, and customer-focused store environment
Supporting the branch on Saturday mornings on a rotating roster
What You'll Bring:
We’re keen to hear from candidates who are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy problem solving. You’re someone who takes initiative, thinks creatively, and gets the job done. You’ll also have a genuine interest in Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with some knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise.
Driver’s license is required
Forklift license is desirable but not essential
MR License is desirable but not essential
Experience working within a customer service environment
Effective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
