Senior Professional Services Consultant / Extended Expert Engineer (XSIAM)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Professional Services Consultant / Extended Expert Engineer to support a strategic Optus XSIAM deployment. This is a customer-facing consulting role requiring a senior-level professional with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with demanding enterprise stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work closely with the customer to design, implement, and optimize security operations while providing expert guidance throughout the engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and deployment of Palo Alto Networks XSIAM solutions.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design, integrate, and optimize SIEM and SOC workflows.
- Collaborate with customer security teams to improve security operations and incident response.
- Apply DevOps methodologies to automate and streamline security processes.
- Provide technical workshops, knowledge transfer, and best practice recommendations.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide senior-level consulting support.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the Telecommunications (Telco) industry.
- Strong background in DevOps, including automation and modern deployment practices.
- Proven experience as a consultant in customer-facing enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Extensive hands-on experience with SIEM and Security Operations Center (SOC) technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks XSIAM is highly preferred.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and provide strategic security recommendations.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Palo Alto Networks security products.
- Knowledge of SOC modernization and security automation.
- Experience integrating SIEM platforms with third-party security tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security environments and enterprise security architecture.

Pay: $76,064.08 – $139,325.16 per year
