We also provide outreach services throughout the Ararat Rural City Council and surrounding communities. Our services include allied health, dental care, community nursing, women’s health and home support services. In addition, the Community Health Centre hosts a range of outpatient clinics, including consulting rooms for visiting surgeons, maternal and child health programs and other external healthcare clinicians.

East Grampians Health Service is seeking an experienced Women’s Health manager to provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership across women’s health services, driving service development, improving health outcomes, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within the region.
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Women’s Health Clinic and associated services.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and coordinate referrals to appropriate services.
- Lead multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Support and mentor staff while fostering a positive team culture.
- Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organisations, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee service performance, quality improvement, reporting, budgets, and resource management.
- Contribute to strategic planning, service development, and innovation initiatives.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing and/or midwifery.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership and service management within a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and interest of contemporary women’s health issues.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in management, quality improvement, and program development.
- Ability to lead change and drive service innovation.
- Commitment to person-centred care and improving health outcomes for women.
