THE LOCATION
A 4½ Star Resort in the heart of Maroochydore offering highly sought after waterside apartments with views of the Pacific Ocean, Maroochy River and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
THE POSITION
The role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and good repair of the common areas of the property and apartments under management.
Daily tasks include but are not limited to inspecting and cleaning the common areas including stairwells, thoroughfares and pathways, grounds, pool and associated facilities/equipment as per the maintenance schedule along with minor repairs to common property and apartment facilities.
After a short period of familiarisation and training the successful applicant must be able to work unsupervised and be prepared to work flexible days and hours including regular and frequent weekend work.
The successful candidate will need to have a pleasant, polite demeanour and a good work ethic, taking pride in what you do. This is a hands-on visible role requiring interaction on occasion with guests, tenants and owners.
This largely janatorial role is ideally suited to a handyperson with a trade background looking for lifestyle change.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Prior experience in a similar role may be advantageous
- Previous trades experience may be advantageous
- Applicants must demonstrate a friendly, customer focused demeanour along with a reliable, positive and flexible approach to work
- Early morning starts required and availability for weekend work is essential
Pay: $33.38 – $64.63 per hour
