High School Tutor – Casual/Flexible Hours

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable tutors to join our growing tutoring team! This is a flexible, rewarding role that is perfect for university students, pre-service teachers, recent graduates, or anyone with strong academic knowledge and a passion for helping students succeed.
As a tutor, you'll work one-on-one with students from Kindergarten to Year 12, helping them build confidence, improve their understanding of schoolwork, and achieve their academic goals. Sessions may take place in students' homes, libraries, schools, or online.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one tutoring sessions.
- Explain concepts clearly and adapt your teaching style to suit each student's learning needs.
- Assist with homework, assessment preparation, and exam revision.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with our administration team regarding lesson progress and scheduling.
- Arrive on time and maintain a high level of professionalism.
What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge in one or more school subjects (particularly Mathematics, English, or Science).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organised, and punctual.
- Passion for education and helping students build confidence.
- Current university student, graduate, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Driver's licence and access to a car preferred.
