People Data Analyst
About the role
As part of the People Platforms & Analytics team, you’ll help manage and continually improve our people data, reporting and analytics that support our leaders and teams across Reece to make confident, data-driven decisions.
You’ll work across the full data lifecycle from supporting data integrations and workforce datasets, through to building dashboards, generating insights and enabling self-service reporting. You’ll collaborate with People Experience and business stakeholders to understand what they need and turn it into meaningful metrics, reporting, and insights.
This is a genuine opportunity to learn and grow. With the right foundations in data and analytics, natural curiosity, and a drive to develop, you’ll build deep capability across a modern people data stack (including Databricks and Power BI) with the support and room to grow into a broader technical specialist over time.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain the data integrations, pipelines and models that keep people data connected, accurate and trusted
- Curate and model workforce datasets and develop Power BI semantic models and reporting solutions
- Build dashboards and self-service analytics that leaders rely on
- Help ensure our people data is high quality, well governed, secure and fit for purpose
About you
You're an enthusiastic data professional who brings curiosity, an inquisitive nature and a growth mindset to everything you do. You’ll also have:
- Previous experience working in data, analytics, reporting or a BI role along with a desire to work in people data and analytics
- Capability across data modelling, transformation and preparation, with a strong logical and analytical mindset
- Strong SQL fundamentals with exposure to data platforms such as Databricks and Power BI
- Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with an ability to methodically unpack requests and requirements
- A drive to deliver data and reporting that adds real value and helps stakeholders make confident decisions
Experience working with workforce, HR or operational data is beneficial, but not essential.
