We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident behind the bar, works well in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and provides friendly, professional service to every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks and other beverages to a consistently high standard.
- Work efficiently during busy restaurant and bar service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar at all times.
- Complete opening, closing and restocking duties.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or ordering requirements to management.
- Follow correct procedures for handling, storing and rotating beverage stock.
- Maintain excellent presentation, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Comply with all Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements and venue policies.
- Identify and appropriately manage intoxication and other RSA-related situations.
- Contribute positively to the team and help create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
The successful applicant must have:
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment.
- A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency.
- Availability to work nights and weekends, including Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Flexibility to work additional shifts for functions, events and peak trading periods where required.
- Reliability, punctuality and a professional attitude.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer and basic cocktail preparation.
- Confidence working independently behind the bar.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to remain organised and efficient during busy service periods.
- Strong attention to detail and presentation.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour
