About the role

Provide exceptional front-line customer service by welcoming patients, managing enquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for patients, visitors, and referring clinicians.

Coordinate patient administration activities including registrations, appointment preparation, Medicare billing, payments, medical record management, and maintaining accurate patient information.

Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the Department of Theranostics and Nuclear Medicine by managing phone enquiries, correspondence, documentation, and general administrative tasks.

Build strong working relationships with clinicians, referrers, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams while providing administrative support for clinical services and research activities.

Contribute to continuous improvement by maintaining data accuracy, complying with hospital policies and billing requirements, and supporting quality initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency
About you

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly approach to delivering exceptional customer service.

You have proven experience in a busy front-line customer service or administration role, with the ability to confidently manage competing stakeholder expectations.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can prioritise multiple tasks, work independently, and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

You have outstanding organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and can confidently follow processes and detailed instructions.

You are proficient in using computer systems and databases for data entry and record management, with a flexible, adaptable approach to change and continuous improvement.
