We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will nurture and grow direct sales, both via marketing lead conversion and individual lead gen and also will be a key player in our sales organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult with management, retailers, and suppliers to elicit and formulate business requirements, translating operational needs into clear requirements specifications
- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews across sales, operations, and supply chain teams to capture current and future business needs
- Analyse existing business processes and operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement
- Develop current-state and future-state process models, workflow diagrams, and process maps to guide business change
- Liaise with project managers, developers, and operational teams to define project scope, business objectives, and implementation deliverables
- Prepare and maintain business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications for stakeholders and development teams
- Define and validate business requirements for retail trading transactions (purchase orders, invoices, shipment notices, product data synchronisation) to ensure retailer trading terms are met
- Review retailer product codes, SKU structures, and inventory data requirements to ensure business and reporting needs are accurately reflected across platforms
- Conduct gap analysis between current and desired business capabilities, recommending practical paths to close the gap
- Support vendor and solution evaluations by assessing options against documented business requirements
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) from a business perspective, validating that delivered solutions meet the original requirements and business intent
- Produce user guides, training materials, and change management plans to support staff and retail partners through process or system changes
- Conduct feasibility and cost-benefit analysis on proposed process or system changes to support business case development and management sign-off
- Track requirements throughout the project lifecycle and assess the business impact of proposed changes before implementation
You will need to display
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an ICT Business Analyst , or similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related discipline
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and documentation (BRDs, functional specifications, process maps)
- Demonstrated experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and managing competing business priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with retail trading processes, EDI, or supply chain/inventory data is highly desirable
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or e-commerce platforms such as Cin7, Shopify, SPS Commerce, or The Order Exchange is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements and projects in a fast-paced environment
