As our Onboarding Officer, you'll be the person who guides every new hire from offer acceptance through to induction-ready - managing the calls, the paperwork, the compliance checks and the follow-ups that keep everything moving on time. You'll be their main point of contact when they have questions, and the person keeping managers informed when they need answers. It's high-volume, detail-driven work. But if you're someone who genuinely loves bringing order to complexity and gets satisfaction from knowing a new employee felt supported from day one, it's the kind of role that leaves a real mark.
What you'll be doing
- Guiding new starters from offer acceptance through to induction-ready - their main point of contact every step of the way
- Managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls to keep onboarding requirements on track
- Collecting, reviewing and verifying all required documentation before day one
- Keeping managers updated with regular progress reports to support operational needs
- Maintaining accurate employee records across HR systems
- Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and care
- Keeping onboarding turnarounds efficient to support workforce planning timelines
You're the right person if...
- You have a proven track record in high-volume administration, data entry and document processing, with a sharp eye for accuracy
- You're organised, calm under pressure and able to juggle competing deadlines without letting things slip
- You're a confident communicator - comfortable managing frequent calls and keeping candidates and managers engaged throughout the process
- You're proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to pick up HRIS and onboarding systems
- You hold a current Working with Children Blue Card, or you're willing to obtain one
