About Us
Juris Cor Legal is a professional legal practice committed to providing high-quality legal services and excellent client care. We are currently seeking a Junior Practice Administrator to join our team.
This is an entry-level role, ideal for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and looking to build their experience in legal administration and accounts support. You will work closely with the legal team to assist with the day-to-day running of the office and provide support across administrative and finance tasks.
About the Role
This role will provide support across both office administration and accounts functions. It is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wants exposure to the operations of a legal practice.
In the first few months, the role will primarily focus on administrative support tasks. As the successful candidate gains experience and confidence in the position, there will be the opportunity to gradually take on accounts-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general office administration and day-to-day practice support
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to general enquiries
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and documents
- File, scan, save, and organise client and office records
- Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Provide support with invoicing, billing, and payment processing
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Support reconciliation and general finance administration duties
- Maintain office supplies and assist with general office coordination
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and other team members
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated, and willing to learn. The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic administrative and/or accounts knowledge
- A professional and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Fluency in Mandarin is essential, and Cantonese language skills will be highly regarded
Desired Experience
As this is an entry-level role, previous experience is not essential, but the following would be highly regarded:
- Experience in administration, office support, or customer service
- Exposure to accounts duties such as invoicing, data entry, or reconciliations
- Experience in a legal, professional services, or office environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and practice management systems
