About the Role
As a key member of our multi-disciplined team, you’ll be responsible for a variety of plant operation, including regular use of a backhoe and labouring tasks that support the construction and maintenance of Council’s infrastructure assets. This is a hands-on role where your skills and experience will directly contribute to the safety, functionality, and appearance of our community.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience operating a Backhoe and the ability to provide supporting evidence of competency, such as RII qualifications or equivalent recognised training and experience;
- Hold or have the ability to successfully obtain ‘Load and Unload Plant’ competency;
- Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and
- Possess and maintain a current MR class motor vehicle licence.
