About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Extruder Operator to join our dynamic production team at our Wetherill Park facility.
This is not your typical machine operator position – we need someone who can think on their feet, problem-solve independently, and take ownership of the entire extrusion process from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing
This role goes well beyond simply running a line. You'll be responsible for:
- Operating and managing the complete extrusion process with minimal supervision
- Monitoring product quality and making real-time adjustments to maintain specifications
- Diagnosing and resolving minor operational issues as they arise
- Conducting equipment changeovers and ensuring optimal machine performance
- Completing all required paperwork, production logs, and quality documentation
- Packing finished products, printing labels, and ensuring accurate labelling
- Performing routine maintenance checks and preventative care
- Collaborating with other departments to maintain smooth production flow
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Extruder Operator in food manufacturing (minimum 3+ years preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of extrusion processes, parameters, and troubleshooting
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Hands-on approach with a proactive "get it done" attitude
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
- Strong organizational skills for managing paperwork and documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
FORKLIFT LICENSE IS A BONUS!!
