Ongoing Clerk Grade 9/10 ($133,348 - $146,94 opportunity with Investment NSW, Trade and International branch based in Martin Place.
About the Role
As the Senior Associate, International Engagement you will lead the delivery of NSW’s international trade and investment initiatives. You will connect government, industry and offshore teams to drive export growth, attract investment and strengthen key economic partnerships. In this role, you’ll provide advice to senior stakeholders, deliver trade programs and ministerial missions, and build strong relationships with investors to generate new opportunities for NSW.
This is a fast-paced role where you’ll balance competing priorities and work across politically, commercially and culturally sensitive environments to achieve high-impact outcomes. Experience living and working overseas and proficiency in a language other than English preferred.

We're Looking For

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Experience building trusted relationships across government, industry and international stakeholders to strengthen trade and investment outcomes.

Strategic Advice and Program Delivery: Ability to provide high-quality advice and deliver market-led programs, missions and initiatives driving export growth and attracting investment.

Commercial Judgment and Agility: Confidence working in a fast-paced environment, balancing competing priorities and navigating politically, commercially and culturally sensitive issues.

International Market Expertise: In depth knowledge and experience working in an overseas market, including understanding the market's unique dynamics, consumer behaviour, regulatory environment, cultural nuances and competitive landscape.
