We're seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support our Men’s Group at our Residential Aged Care sites including:

You'll help facilitate engaging activities during group sessions, fostering connection among residents and also provide friendly one-on-one visits.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact in our community by promoting social interaction and well-being. If you’re passionate about building relationships and enriching lives, we would love to have you on our team!
Specific tasks and responsibilities may include;

Provide social and emotional support to nominated residents.

Assisting male residents to participate and attend activities/workshops of interest

Engage residents in activities of interest that are meaningful and fulfilling

Assisting residents to participate in activities as directed by the Customer Wellness Coordinator

Helps you meet and socialise with new people
-
Provides you with a great sense of satisfaction with the motive of helping others.

Teaches you valuable skills which allows you to grow and develop

Brings fun and change in your life that breaks up your week

Improves your self-esteem and self-confidence, knowing the work you’ve undertaken has a purpose by helping others
- Please note all volunteers in Aged Care must have had a current Flu Vaccine prior to commencement.
