About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to join our friendly team at our beautiful Aegis Amherst facility in Canning Vale.
As an Occupational Therapist within Aegis, no day will look the same! You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills including but not limited to:
- Seating and postural management
- Pressure management
- Fine and gross motor function
- Dementia care

- Advocate for residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes

- Quality Monitoring practices and Continuous improvement.

About you
You should ideally be an empathetic person who:
- Holds a genuine interest in working with older people.
- Passion for enablement and rehabilitation.
- Customer service ethos with focus on providing a comprehensive and meaningful Occupational Therapy service to all residents.
- Have strong attention to detail and solution focussed problem-solving skills.
- An appetite for innovation and continuous improvement
- Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.

Essential Requirements
- Occupational Therapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
- Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance
