At Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR), we are the Territory’s expert on capital infrastructure and property, partnering across government to deliver safe, inclusive and welcoming places for the ACT community.
Within Infrastructure Canberra, Delivery – Places and Spaces is accountable for whole‑of‑life asset management and maintenance, and the delivery of property programs and services across the ACT Government portfolio. This includes management of community facilities and venues that support social connection, cultural activities and community engagement.
The Customer and Asset Management Branch – Community and Government Engagement Team provides centralised customer service, venue management and property services for a range of government and community facilities. Working under general direction, the position responds to enquiries, processes bookings, conducts venue inspections, and coordinates operational activities such as room set‑ups, cleaning, security and waste management. The role also supports promotion and administration activities, ensuring venue information is accurate, up to date and accessible to the community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer‑focused environment, can juggle competing priorities, and takes pride in delivering high‑quality service.
The role works closely with colleagues, contractors and community members to ensure venues operate smoothly and continue to meet the needs of Canberra’s growing and diverse communities.
