About the role
The Sustainability Engagement Enablement Lead supports the delivery of Allianz Australia’s Sustainability Strategy by partnering with stakeholders, driving capability uplift, monitoring progress, and delivering meaningful reporting and insights to support decision-making.
- Partner with business teams to manage sustainability data, track progress and support accurate reporting and dashboard updates.
- Drive the adoption of sustainable practices by embedding accountability and supporting change across the business.
- Develop engaging sustainability communications for a range of internal and external audiences, including written and digital content, thought leadership initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities, and events that build awareness, understanding and action.
- Translate sustainability priorities and performance into clear presentations, reports and communication materials.
- Prepare executive and Board reporting, providing insights and recommendations to support decision making.
- Create practical tools, guidance and resources that help teams embed sustainability into everyday activities and reporting.
- Provide operational support to the Sustainability team, including planning, reporting and broader team initiatives.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in sustainability, environmental studies, communications, public relations, business or a related discipline, with experience in financial services, insurance or other regulated environments highly regarded.
- Experience in sustainability, ESG, communications or a related field, with a strong understanding of sustainability principles and emerging issues.
- A collaborative approach with proven ability to engage stakeholders and influence outcomes across diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills, with experience creating compelling presentations, reports and executive-ready content.
- Ability to translate strategy into practical initiatives, communications and tools that drive awareness, engagement and behaviour change.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic objectives with practical business outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
