This position is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to providing an integrated early childhood service that supports both the care and education of children, while leading the planning and evaluation of programs and providing guidance, mentoring, and supervision to team members. It requires upholding the Early Childhood Code of Ethics, ensuring a safe and high quality learning environment, and working collaboratively with team members and families to maintain consistency of practice and drive continuous improvement across the service.
Diploma in Children’s Services (or recognised and approved equivalent) or higher qualification
A sound understanding and knowledge of Early Childhood Developmental Principles including the
Early Years Learning Framework (or approved framework)
Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Certificate (preferred)
First Aid including CPR
Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card/Working with Vulnerable People Check
