The Role
This role is primarily a customer-facing support position, focused on day-to-day ICT operations, user support, and routine maintenance tasks across the school. The Technical Support Officer should provide good customer service primarily to staff supporting helpdesk functions including password resetting and some on the job training using school applications and systems.
In this role you may be responsible for the installation, problem solving, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of information systems and information technology (IT) equipment such as computers, laptops, projectors (AV), interactive smartboards, printers and copiers in accordance with the school’s needs and Department of Education policies and guidelines. The successful applicant will ideally possess effective communication skills and a thorough understanding of major operating systems and portable devices with their associated software would be highly desirable.
