South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Mental Health Service (SESLHD MHS) is looking for a dynamic, creative and motivated individual for a temporary full-time position as a Nurse Educator (Grade 3) working within our Workplace Capabilities team. We are seeking an experienced and innovative Registered Nurse/Nurse Educator to join and lead our team as a clinical leader within SESLHD Mental Health Service - Working in Mental Health has never been more important or meaningful!
This role will provide high level education development, evaluation and support to Clinical Nurse Educators and clinical staff across the District and will be responsible for providing clinical education and mentorship to our existing and expanding nursing and multi-disciplinary workforce across the service, ensuring education programs are developed and delivered that promote best practice with a focus on strengths and recovery. Where you'll be working
Based at SESLHD District Office, located on the St George Hospital campus, Kogarah.
Travel to other SESLHD sites will be required.

Role Requirements
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the following criteria in your application:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Holding post registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications relevant to the clinical area or areas in which he/she is to be appointed, or qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Recent experience in the development of practice.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education and training programs.
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles.
- Computer literacy and understanding of relevant information systems.
- Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
