About the role
As our new Systems Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and ongoing optimisation of Workday Adaptive Planning at V/Line.
Working closely with Finance, Technology, and implementation partners, you’ll help deliver a fit-for-purpose solution and, following go-live, take ownership of system administration, data governance, continuous improvement, and user training and support.
The position plays a key role in ensuring efficient and effective financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes aligned with organisational objectives.
About you
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following key selection criteria within their application, as this forms part of our merit-based recruitment process:
Must have 2+ years’ experience successfully working in a Systems Accountant, Financial Systems Analyst role or similar position
Demonstrated experience with budgeting and reporting tools (Workday Adaptive Planning highly preferred)
Established experience working with both finance and technical stakeholders in system implementations
Proven ability to build relationships and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally
Tertiary qualifications in Finance or related field (highly desirable)
CPA/CA membership (highly desirable)
Salary for this position is commensurate to the successful candidate’s aligned skills and experience to the position.
