About the Role
We are seeking a professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our community care team in Dee Why on a casual basis. This role involves conducting community-based home visits to deliver person-centered, evidence-based clinical care. Working under the direction and delegation of a head Registered Nurse (RN), you will ensure that all care aligns with the client’s specific care plan and the RN Scope of Practice.
Responsibilities

Deliver safe, person-centered nursing care, including wound care and chronic disease management.

Conduct regular clinical observations and report changes in client health status to the head RN.

Assist with medication management and monitor for compliance and side effects.

Document all care accurately in the client management system in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Model wellness and rehabilitation while supporting the client’s right to choice and dignity.

Contribute to the effective functioning of the clinical team to meet business objectives.
Requirements

Nursing university-level degree and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

Demonstrated experience working with older adults in a community, aged care, or hospital setting.

Sound clinical judgement, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and First Aid/CPR certifications.

Valid Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional development and safe practice.

Proficiency in English is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
