GTS is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Canning Vale. As an Electrical Engineer at GTS, you will be a key member of our Technical Services
department, contributing to the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical
systems across all locations. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting
opportunity to apply your expertise in electrical engineering to drive innovation and

Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Testing, commissioning and maintenance on electrical equipment within your
capabilities and experience
- Interpretation of drawings/specifications/standards and regulations relating to electrical equipment
- Performing detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and
installation standards and specifications.
- Developing project documentation including technical reports, drawings, schematics,
and equipment manuals.
- Providing technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and
maintenance of electrical systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues efficiently to minimise
downtime.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards
throughout all stages of project execution.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

Hourly rate range $45 - $50 per hour ($88,920 - $98,800 base annual salary), dependent upon skills and experience.

Academic or Trade Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering as a minimum
- Eligibility to join Engineers Australia as a Professional
- Must be legally able to work in Australia
- Manual drivers license
Work Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 2+ Years practical experience in the HV industry
- Ability to be extremely adaptable and flexible
- Excellent communication skills
- Manual Handling (can be obtained after employment)
- Ability to adjust in a quick changing environment
- Microsoft Office 365
