As the Creative Content and Marketing Producer, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation and delivering best-practice programming across Waverley’s year-round arts and culture calendar. From visual arts and live music to thought-provoking talks and dynamic performances, you’ll help shape unforgettable experiences—particularly at the iconic Bondi Pavilion.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading creative content development and storytelling across multiple channels
- Developing and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns for events and programs
- Collaborating with the Arts and Culture team to support the delivery of high-impact festival programming
- Championing Waverley’s vision and strategic goals as outlined in the Waverley Arts and Culture Plan

Essential Criteria

Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience, and current industry knowledge in marketing, communications or public relations related fields.

Demonstrated experience in social media, digital communications/marketing, including the production and tracking of digital, marketing and other promotional materials.

Strong ability to write engaging copy for a variety of digital mediums and use of content management systems and image editing and design software.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in designing, delivering and evaluating marketing and communications assets to support the offer of engaging experiences and reflect industry best practice in an arts and culture context.

Demonstrated understanding of community identity, cultural programming and creative industries.

Ability to manage and develop systems to categorise and label content, including photos, videos and experience with a range of content management systems.

Ability and willingness to work outside standard office hours, including weekends, with time in lieu provisions applying.

Minimum intermediate level computer literacy across Microsoft suite and databases.

Experience in producing outcomes across a range of arts and cultural subject areas with demonstrated specialist knowledge in at least one specialisation including literature, music, technology, visual arts, theatre, performance and the creative industries.

Experience in web content development and maintenance, as well as an understanding of Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor, social media, SEO and SEM.
