Musical Avenue is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Guitar Teacher to join our growing music school at M-City Clayton.
This is an ongoing casual position, commencing as soon as possible, for 1–2 days per week. The successful applicant will teach students ranging from beginner to advanced levels and will possess the following attributes:
Essential Attributes
- Reliable, warm, professional, and committed
- Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn
- Able to adapt teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style and interests
- Ability to prepare students for AMEB examinations (training and support provided)
- Ability to complete weekly lesson notes, record video lessons when required, and write student progress reports (training and support provided)
- Holds, or is currently studying towards, a Bachelor of Music
- Current Working With Children Check or VIT registration
