Full-Time Commercial Cleaner – Day Shift
Cairns | Full Time, 38 Hours per Week
We are seeking an experienced and reliable commercial cleaner to join our Cairns team in a full-time day-shift position.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across multiple commercial locations throughout Cairns and surrounding areas. In addition to routine cleaning, you will assist with detailed and periodic cleaning using commercial cleaning equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing commercial cleaning across multiple locations
- General cleaning of offices, amenities and common areas
- Supporting cleaning teams at different sites when required
- Completing scheduled periodic and detailed cleaning
- Operating commercial cleaning equipment and machinery
- Carpet steam cleaning
- Floor polishing
- Pressure washing
- Floor stripping and sealing
- Monitoring cleaning standards and reporting maintenance or supply issues
- Maintaining equipment, stock and cleaner rooms
- Following site procedures, safety requirements and cleaning schedules
- Communicating professionally with clients, team members and management
What We Are Looking For
- Previous commercial cleaning experience
- Experience using commercial cleaning machinery
- Experience with carpet steam cleaning, floor polishing, pressure washing, or stripping and sealing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work across multiple locations
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Reliable, proactive and able to manage daily priorities
- Good communication skills
- Current driver’s licence
- Availability to work full-time during the day
