Skills & experience
- Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
- Qualified and Licenced Plumber/Trade Plumber (essential)
- Previous plumbing experience, with water meter experience highly regarded
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of work
- Ability to work safely and independently across multiple locations
- Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
Duties & responsibilities
- Replace existing water meters with smart water meters
- Complete associated plumbing works, including disconnections, installations and reconnections
- Inspect connections and pipework to ensure meters are installed correctly and securely
- Test completed installations and check for leaks or issues
- Travel between sites throughout Gladstone and surrounding areas
- Complete job documentation and reporting as required
- Maintain a high standard of safety, workmanship and customer service
