Proudly Productive is day centre for teenagers and young adults with additional needs where they are supported to engage in social, group based activities such as craft, sports, cooking, music, gardening, and much more. All of the activities and groups are social in nature and aim to support active inclusion and participation. Proudly Productive has a stringent enrolment process to ensure that participants are suitable, safe, and will thrive within the social and group nature of our program.
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team for a 12-month maternity leave cover position. This rewarding role involves coordinating a dynamic day centre that supports teenagers and young adults with additional needs to develop independence, social connections, life skills, and community participation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys program coordination with participant engagement, family liaison, and team collaboration. There is minimal reporting involved, no KPI's and flexible weekly working hours.
A company vehicle is provided for work-related duties, including participant transport and community activities.
About the Role
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre while actively supporting participants to engage in meaningful programs and activities. You will work closely with participants, families, staff, and community organisations to ensure high-quality service delivery and positive participant outcomes.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Desirable
- Experience working with teenagers and young adults with additional needs
- Experience in program coordination, leadership, or team supervision
