Team Leader Resource Planning
Full-time 35 hours per week

SNSW Grade 7/8
Remuneration – Package includes salary starting at $105,986 base plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
About the team
This role sits within the Service Delivery Workforce Capacity Planning Team and supports resource planning to align business priorities.
As the Team Leader Resource Planning you will provide expert advice and support on resource planning processes, analysing resource needs, and developing strategies to optimise the allocation and utilisation of organisational resources to meet business objectives
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual and quarterly resource planning cycles ensuring accurate forecasting and allocation of resources across all projects and initiatives
- Provide accurate resource forecasts to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyse current resource utilisation to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and project managers to forecast resource needs and allocate resources
- Conduct regular analysis of resource utilisation trends to identify potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the develop and maintain a resource allocation framework that aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Continuously assess and refine resource planning processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve resource management and utilisation.
About you
The successful applicant will be a motivated team leader with a strong customer-centric mindset and well-developed problem-solving skills. In addition, you will have:
- Proven experience leading a team to effectively deliver services within a high-volume, sensitive environment, with a consistent focus on enhancing the customer experience
- Demonstrated ability to balance competing demands, ensuring deliverables are met while proactively assessing and planning for future resource needs in line with changing business requirements
- Strong capability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders within a complex environment, managing tight timeframes and competing priorities effectively
