Our salon is owned and operated by a Japanese groomer with extensive knowledge of canine behaviour and gentle handling techniques. Dogs are groomed with patience and respect, and building trust-based relationships is at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and caring Dog Bather to join our small, friendly team on a causal basis. In this role, you will be responsible for bathing, drying, and preparing dogs ahead of grooming, working closely alongside our senior groomer to ensure every dog has a calm and positive experience.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with dogs and wants to be part of a team that genuinely prioritises animal welfare.
Your Responsibilities
- Bathing and drying dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Assisting the senior groomer with preparation and general salon tasks
- Handling dogs gently and calmly throughout the process
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
About You
- Experience handling or bathing dogs (professional or personal)
- Calm, patient, and confident around dogs of all temperaments
- Reliable, punctual, and a great team player
- Genuine care for dog welfare and low-stress handling
- Eager to learn and open to guidance
- Japanese language skills are a bonus (not essential)
