The primary role of a TAFE SA Hourly Paid Instructor (HPI) is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives. Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
Got What It Takes?
- Minimum of three years industry experience (which does not include an apprenticeship or traineeship) as a Hairdresser in Australia.
- Certificate III in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
- Relevant and current industry experience (within the last 12 months) which demonstrate each unit of competence and knowledge of the workplace and industry requirements to apply to delivery and assessment.
- Certificate IV in TAE40116 or equivalent is desirable
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
