About the Opportunity
Provide critical administrative and operational support during a period of significant organisational transition.
This role has been established to ensure continuity of School operations during upcoming absences in the team and the preparation and submission of the School’s upcoming Engineers Australia (EA) Accreditation. The position reports to the School Administration Manager and plays a key role in supporting and coordinating EA accreditation activities, managing complex administrative processes, and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
As a senior member of the administration team, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality service delivery across the School, supporting workload redistribution during periods of reduced staffing capacity, and enabling efficient support for the School’s teaching and research activities. The position also provides an opportunity to strengthen administrative processes, minimise operational risk, and support a stable and consistent working environment.
About the School
The School of Engineering brings together a diverse and collaborative community dedicated to addressing complex “wicked problems” that extend beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. Building on a strong foundation in systems thinking, the School integrates expertise across five focus areas: Aerospace, Energy, Environmental, Information & Signal Processing, and Mechatronics.
The School is supported by a professional administration team that provides essential operational, student-facing, and academic support services. Working closely with technical, health and safety, and central University service teams, the administration function ensures coordinated and responsive support across all areas of the School.
The School fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity, creating an environment where staff and students are empowered to achieve excellence in research, education, and engagement.
