What You'll Do
- Drive clinical care excellence: Direct and optimize daily personal and clinical care programs to ensure outstanding resident outcomes in line with national standards.
- Lead and empower care teams: Supervise, coach, and support Registered Nurses, care staff, and allied health professionals to foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Master regulatory & funding compliance: Champion Aged Care Quality Standards, oversee AN-ACC/funding processes, and maintain continuous accreditation readiness.
- Champion continuous improvement: Analyze clinical data and incident trends to implement proactive safety, medication management, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Advocate for residents & families: Act as a key liaison for families and residents, guaranteeing personalized care plans that respect individual rights and choices.
What You Bring
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse.
- Valid National Police Check and full Australian working rights.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a senior management role within aged care.
- Proven knowledge and understanding of Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards Accreditation quality, compliance and clinical governance.
- Tertiary studies or certifications in clinical management, health administration, or clinical leadership is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing clinical teams, with a focus on performance development and accountability.
- Proven ability to implement Work Health & Safety (WHS) and evaluate quality management systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a resident-first approach to care.
