We are looking for an experienced, driven Chef to join our team on full-time basis at our restaurant located on Little Malop Street in Geelong.
Successful candidate will have a minimum Cert 4 in Commercial Cookery and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Duties include:
- Preparing and cooking food according to restaurant recipes and specifications
- Assisting with food preparation, portioning, freezing and storing food appropriately
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Following kitchen procedures and assisting with stock rotation to ensure freshness of ingredients
- Assisting with receiving and storing deliveries from suppliers
- Supporting the kitchen team during food service periods
- Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are followed at all times
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of kitchen work areas
- Assisting with basic stock control and minimising food waste
Pay: From $74,000.00 per year
