Producer

Role: Full-Time
Location: Surry Hills
Salary: In-line with experience

Radical Orange is expanding its production team and is looking for a new Producer who is excited to start in a full-time role. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative international production companies in Australia.

We are looking for someone to provide support on the increase in film projects.

Who do we want?

Someone with proven people skills, who enjoys being a Producer and wants to grow with the company. Someone with a finished film making degree and real world experience inside an agency and/or production company.

What will you do?

Manage our production and post-production team, liaising with suppliers and clients both local and international.

General production (creative, location searches, talent, treatments, estimates, supplier searches, crew bookings, general research).

Create estimates and manage projects from start to finish.

Act as a director and producer on shoots.

Manage contributors and international shoots.

Actively sell Radical Orange to agency partners and direct clients.

What skills, qualities and experience do you need?

Film Graduate with real world agency or production company experience as a producer, coordinator or production-assistant (ready to make the next step).

Quick Creative Thinker – you find solutions to problems

Great phone / email manner

Hard worker (understands this is not a 9 -5 industry) long nights are part of the job and weekend work can be part of the job if we are busy.

Have existing relationships with freelancers and contractors to call upon during busy times

Understands what it means to be client facing and acts / dresses this way

Love to travel and eager to travel for work nationally and internationally

Drivers License

Understanding of Photoshop, Indesign, Google Sheets

Plus if you are fluent in an additional language (especially Mandarin or Cantonese)

Basic Editing Skills would be great

Most importantly, someone who really wants it. You must have a passion to work in production and it has to be your number 1 priority and you want to make great work.
