Carne & Cucina are looking for an experienced Section Waiter or Bartender to join our team for approximately 10–15 hours per week.
This role would suit someone who is studying, looking for a second job, or simply wants a few shifts in a quality restaurant environment.
Weekend availability is essential.
About you:
We’re looking for someone who already has experience working in a full-service restaurant and understands what good food and beverage service looks like.
You’ll ideally have experience with:
- Working your own section in a busy restaurant
- Taking orders and providing attentive table service
- Understanding food, wine and beverage service
- Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
- Communicating confidently with guests and the wider team
- Working in a professional restaurant environment
For bartenders, experience with cocktail preparation, wine and beer service and working a restaurant bar is highly regarded.
Previous restaurant experience is essential. This position is not suitable for applicants whose hospitality experience is limited to fast food, takeaway or counter-service environments.
We’re looking for someone who can step into a restaurant environment with a good understanding of service and requires minimal training on the fundamentals.

Pay: $33.00 – $48.00 per hour
