About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Factory Hand to join our screen printing production team. This is a varied, physical role suited to someone who's happy to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed on the factory floor — from receiving stock through to dispatch. You'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly by managing garment flow, stock handling, and general factory support tasks.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Unpacking stock: Receive and unpack incoming garment deliveries, checking quantities and quality against orders
- Packing stock: Accurately pack finished and printed garments ready for dispatch, following packing instructions and order specifications
- Catching garments: Catch garments coming off the printing press/dryer, folding and stacking neatly to keep production moving efficiently
- General factory support: Assist across the floor as required, including:
- Moving and organising stock in the warehouse
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Assisting machine operators and other production staff when needed
- Basic quality checks (spotting misprints, faults, or damaged garments)
- Any other ad hoc duties required to support daily operations
Skills and Attributes
- Physically fit and comfortable with standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
- Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail, particularly around stock accuracy and garment quality
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks as needed
- Positive attitude and flexible approach to changing daily priorities
- Previous experience in a factory, warehouse, or garment/printing environment is a plus but not essential — full training provided
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry boxes/stock (up to 15 kg)
- Standing for extended periods
- Repetitive hand and arm movement (folding, packing, catching garments)

Pay: $26.46 – $29.00 per hour
